Cosme ConsultTM is a trademark of Decofar NV, witch was founded in 1996 by Léon Seutin and Karin De Wreede.  Léon obtained his Pharmacy degree at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in 1987 and a Master of cosmetology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles in 1988.  He has since worked in the cosmetics industry and has over 25 years experience in formulation, manufacturing, legislation and software development.  In februari  2000 he followed the 6-day advanced course on “Safety Assessment of Cosmetics in the EU” under Professor Vera Rogiers at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (no exam).  From this background he developed a software environment (patent pending) which offers a solution for the enumeration of the chemical substances from the raw materials of a cosmetic formulation with full traceability of the data within the documents used.
